Lighting of the Tree
Friday, November 23rd
The City Hall Christmas Tree will be illuminated to officially kick off the holiday shopping season. Old St. Nick will make an appearance and the crowds will be entertained by choirs, dancers and singers. The fun starts at 5:30pm in front of City Hall.
Sunday, November 25th
The MarketPlace brings you its annual Christmas Parade winding through the streets of Hamilton. Join Santa and his elves as they takes to the streets at 5pm. Dance troups, decorative flats, marching bands and more will be on hand to delight the crowd.
Youth Decorating of the Tree
Friday, December 7th
Stop by E.F. Gordon Square at 12pm as local City schools decorate the North Hamilton Christmas tree alongside Mayor Gosling.
Christmas Boat Parade
Saturday, December 8th
No. 1 Car Park is the place to be for optimum viewing of the magnificent boats, dolled up in their Christmas best, as they meander through Hamilton Harbour. A Christmas Village awaits all revellers with vendors and entertainment. BBC will be broadcasting live from the parade. Come on down and help the judges decide who should take home top honours!

The streets of Hamilton will be bursting with live performances with buskers, dance troups, bands and more as shoppers buy those last minute gifts!
