The City of Hamilton invites all City retailers to splash out and get into the Christmas spirit with a festive, competition-worthy Christmas window for the world outside your doors to enjoy!
There are prizes to be won and FREE marketing opportunities as we'll be posting participating businesses on our social media platforms.
An overall competition winner will be judged by a panel of industry insiders and the public will have their say in the People's Choice Competition based on FaceBook LIKES.
• Each participating retailer can enter one window only into the competition.
• Retailers must display the window decorating participation notice, issued by the City of Hamilton, in their window.
• The application deadline is on November 8th at 5:00 pm.
• Entry forms must be submitted digitally via this application form.
• The window decorating must be completed by Friday, November 29th, 2019, at noon for judging.
• All participating windows will be photographed and placed on the City of Hamilton Facebook page for People's Choice voting only.
• The competition period will take place from December 2nd – December 13th, 2019.
• The winners will be announced on December 13th, 2019.
• The window display must remain in place for the duration of the contest.
• Best Christmas Window 2019 - $1,000 BELCO Gift Certificate/ Social media feature/ News feature/A trophy/ A complimentary store ad spot at the City's New Years Eve Block party on the jumbo screen (store to provide content)
• People's Choice - $350 Masters Gift Certificate/ Social media feature/ News feature
