Hamilton will experience extensive road closures and parking restrictions during the Triathlon. Residents that live on the race course and those businesses that fall on it are encouraged to plan ahead and be informed about the impact the races will have on them.
All Front Street car parks as well as City Hall park will be CLOSED on Friday and Saturday. PLV car park will close on Saturday. There will be NO on-street parking on any part of the race course on Friday and Saturday as barricades will be installed along the race course. This will affect many City streets. The City will lose over 1000 car bays as well as much of the bike parking. Bull's Head and Elliot car parks will be open. The City encourages commuters to take public transportation (especially the ferry), carpool or work from home if you can on Friday, April 27th.
