Why did you seek employment with the Corporation of Hamilton?
Mark has done a lot of traveling overseas and in his journeys, has been able to appreciate all of the different landscaping that he has been exposed to. He has also admired just how the landscapers take care of the various cities that he has seen. Mark had heard that the Corporation of Hamilton was hiring and thought that he might get lucky if he applied and so he did.

Which aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
Mark prefers to cut grass more than weeding or doing hedges. Sometimes Mark might wake up 2 a.m. and is dreaming about having a race with someone with a lawn mower. Mark indicated that he actually loves to work.

Where do you see yourself in five (5) years time?
Mark sees himself as the next Mayor of Hamilton, he says jokingly. But more seriously, Mark perhaps feels that he can aspire to a Foreman position with the Corporation of Hamilton. He mentioned that he always puts God first in everything that he does. Mark enjoys working Corporation even when he is working within the Sanitation Department. He tends to get along with just about everyone in the Yard. Marks considers himself an Entrepreneur and is always looking at ways of growing and looks at numerous opportunities to create financial opportunities and gain for himself. One of his mottos is “if you fail to plan, then you plan to fail.”
