Earl Cameron Theatre

Opened to the public in 1960, City Hall is an impressive landmark in Hamilton and centrally located, adjacent to the bus terminal and only a mere two blocks for the ferry terminal. The theatre at City Hall plays host to numerous productions throughout the year including pantomimes, dance recitals, comedy shows, theatrical productions, award galas, film festivals, corporate meetings, lecture and more.

In 2012, the theatre was renamed to honour Earl Cameron, a son of the soil, who boasts an impressive list of acting credits stretching from stage to screen. The theatre can seat up to 378 patrons and any rental of the theatre includes the City Hall foyer space.
