For Immediate Release
Public Relations Manager
Hamilton – July 22, 2021
The City of Hamilton is advising individuals registered to take part in the City’s Scavenger Hunt this Friday and Saturday that, due to forecast inclement weather this weekend, the City of Hamilton has made the decision to postpone the hunt until August 13 and 14.
The City’s Senior Events & Marketing Coordinator Allison Tucker said, “Although this was a tough call to make, the City wants participants to have the best experience possible. With more than 60 teams signed up, we are really excited that this one-of-a-kind event has garnered so much interest! We look forward to hosting this event in August and bringing this unique, fun and engaging experience to the people of Bermuda.”
Teams that were booked for Friday July 23rd will automatically be moved to Friday August 13th and teams that were booked for Saturday July 24th will automatically be moved to Saturday August 14th.
All registered teams will be individually notified of this postponement. They should email email@example.com to confirm that the City can proceed with rescheduling their hunt.
As a reminder, a receipt with a minimum value of $25.00 from any City business between June 23rd- August 13th, 2021, must be presented on arrival at the event site to be eligible for the hunt. Participants who were saving their receipts from Hamilton businesses for entry to the hunt are encouraged to hold on to them as they will be honoured when the event is held in August.
This is a free event and prizes include flat screen TVs, an electric bike, travel vouchers, wireless speakers, tablets, prizes courtesy of One Communications, and dinner experiences courtesy of Island Restaurant Group Ltd.
The City would like to thank our event sponsors One Communications and Bacardi Group Ltd for their support.
Registration for the event is open and the deadline to sign up is two days prior to the hunt. Teams can register here.
