Over 1,000 Entries for City’s 12 Days of Giving Campaign!

Hamilton – December 20th, 2021

The City of Hamilton’s 12 Days of Giving campaign concluded on Friday with more than 1,000 entries and 24 winners over the last two weeks.

The holiday giveaway campaign ran from December 6th - 17th via the City’s Facebook and Instagram pages. All participants had to do for entry was go to the City of Hamilton’s Facebook page (CityofHamiltonBda) or Instagram page (@citylifebda) and follow the steps for entry on each post. There was one winner on Instagram and one winner on Facebook per day.

“The City would like to thank everyone who took part,” said the City’s Marketing Coordinator Sideya Dill. “The participation from members of the public was amazing and we would like to encourage everyone to keep ‘following’ the City on social media for the latest City events, news and more!

“We really want to thank those participating City businesses who partnered with us in providing some of these fantastic giveaways. ‘Happy Season of Giving’ to the community!”

The two charitable donations (of $500 each) went to the Salvation Army and the Kijani Burgess Dream Award Charity.

  • An artificial Christmas tree
  • A turkey and ham (sponsored, in part, by The MarketPlace)
  • Lunch on the City (gift voucher)
  • Samsung 50” Smart LED Television
  • Two-night stay at Hamilton Princess (sponsored by the Hamilton Princess)
  • Grocery voucher (sponsored by The SuperMart)
  • Professional Christmas photoshoot (sponsored by Donovin Seymour Photography)
  • Charitable donation to the winner’s choice of charity
  • Dinner on the City (gift voucher)
  • Deluxe Christmas gift basket (sponsored by Marks & Spencer)
  • Gas voucher
  • Gift wrapping supplies (sponsored by Brown & Co)
