City to Host Fresh Air Films – Spooky Cinema

Hamilton – October 3^rd, 2022

The City of Hamilton is delighted to announce its next Fresh Air Films event which will take place over the 2022 Halloween Weekend.

The City will host another of its iconic film series on Saturday, October 29^th 2022 in frightening Fort Hamilton!

The first showing will feature The Addams Family (2019 - Rated PG) and will take place at 6:30pm and the second movie of the night, Candyman (2021- Rated R), will start at 9pm. Gates will open at 5pm. Admission is FREE!

There will also be free candy, a photobooth, trick-or-treat buckets full of Halloween goodies, and other fun giveaways!

“This year the City decided to put a twist on the Halloween movie experience by hosting the open-air event in one of our spookiest venues – Fort Hamilton!” explained Senior Events and Marketing Coordinator, Tamara Smith. “We think the ambience of the Fort will really add to the movie-watching experience. The evening will feature two popular new movies but also fun City trivia and delicious food and beverage items for sale. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes!”

Food and beverage will be available for purchase on-site from vendors including Ashely’s Lemonade, Speciality Cinema & Grill and Four Star.

Parking for the event will be at King Street Car Park. No parking will be permitted at Fort Hamilton. FREE tram rides will be available to take movie-goers to and from the event from the car park.

The rain date will be November 5^th.
