                                                                                                            Holiday City Garbage Collection Schedule

Hamilton – December 22nd, 2022

The City of Hamilton advises the public that garbage collection in the City over the Christmas and New Year public holidays will operate on a reduced schedule.

As per the public notice issued, the last garbage collection before Christmas will be on Saturday, December 24^th. All garbage should be placed outside by 4:00pm. No trash will be collected after 8:00pm. There will be NO COLLECTION on Christmas Day through Tuesday, December 27^th. The regular schedule will resume on Wednesday, December 28^th.

Similarly, garbage should be placed on the sidewalks by 4:00pm for the last collection on New Year’s Eve. There will be no further collection after 8:00pm. There will be NO COLLECTION on New Year’s Day, or Monday, January 2^nd. The regular schedule will resume on January 3^rd, 2023.

The public are kindly asked to not put any trash out on the City sidewalks on days when there is no scheduled collection.

All garbage should be placed in designated collection areas or in the wheelie bins provided by the City.
