Councillor Jenefer Brimmer

Jenefer P. Brimmer, Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE), May 2019 was newly appointed to the City Council in May 2019. She is no stranger to the community or Back of Town North East Hamilton area as the owner of the HI Group of Companies, LLC and the recently opened Hamilton-based retail and wholesale business BKS Wholesale & Liquors.  She is a former long service Reservations Manager Executive at the Elbow Beach Hotel, Front Office Manager at the former Bermuda Sonesta Beach Hotel & Spa and both a Sales Manager and Account Executive for Groups & Incentives Sales, North America at the Bermuda Department of Tourism New York office.  Co-Founder and President of the Bermuda Asthma & Allergy Support Group Charity, she has spent countless hours in Bermuda and the Caribbean region organizing and conducting free Asthma & Allergy Workshops. She has served on several committees and previously acted as Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Lands & Building Sub-Committee with the Government Public Works Board (formerly Works & Engineering). She is the co-founder of The Beacon Collection, a community-friendly publishing house for the Back of Town/North Hamilton businesses -  www.backatown.bm. In September 2018 she received the Back of Town Priscilla Wilkinson Business Award.
