Venue Rental Sponsorship
The City is proud to support community and/or charity events that lead to a vibrant City.
By submitting the Venue Rental Sponsorship Request Form, you are applying to be considered for a 50% reduction of the rental rate of a City venue, with the exception of the Earl Cameron Theatre. Each application received will be considered on its own merit. Previous sponsorship commitment from the City will not dictate future sponsorship requests.
Only in-kind sponsorship requests will be considered. The City does not consider cash sponsorship requests or sponsor requests for waiver of any labour charges incurred from the rental of a City venue.
The City will consider sponsorship for an event that that qualifies under at least two of the following:
- Event is a fundraiser for a registered charity, church or school
- Event is free to the public or it is a free community event
- Event will attract international interest and visitors to Bermuda and Hamilton
Sponsorship applications must be received no less than six (6) weeks prior to the event, to allow for the proper approval process and to allow enough time for the City logo to be printed on promotional materials etc. Applications received less than 6 weeks before the event date will not be considered. Sponsorship applicants must submit the Venue Rental Application Form prior to submitting the Venue Rental Sponsorship Request Form.
