The Members of the Corporation of Hamilton meet several times a month to conduct the City's business.

The Board meets as a full council once a month to pass resolutions that are received as recommendations from the Corporation's four Committees.

Committees include Residents Advisory Committee, Finance Committee, Infrastructure Committee and Staff, Legislative and Governance Committee. These Committees meet once a month.

All meetings must have a quorum to pass any measure and upon approval from the Board, all passed resolutions are sent to the Minister of Home Affairs for final approval.

All meetings are open to the public for viewing purposes only. Several Committees, as well as the Board meeting, include a restricted session at which any members of the public in attendance are excused from.
