Taste of Bermuda Drive-In Experience

Join us for the City’s first festival since COVID (Debbie downer) took residence on our little island.
Each night you are invited to enter a transformed Par-La-Ville car park for an experience, unlike anything you’ve seen! Drive-by cooking demonstrations, a drive-through photobooth, food-themed movies, prize giveaways and free food and drink samples can be enjoyed all from the comfort - and safe distance - of your own vehicle. Getting into this event is simple, show a receipt valued at $25 or higher from any City eatery.
Be sure to save those receipts between now and October 11, 2020. We can’t wait to celebrate Bermuda’s beloved food and culture together (apart) this Fall.
Friday, October 9th | 6:30 pm - 12:30 pm
This night is just the ‘VEGINNING’ of a fun-filled, food-filled and film-filled (say that three times fast) Taste of Bermuda weekend! Inspired by the ever-growing interest in healthier eating this evening will be centred around plant-based goodness. There will be a double film feature showing the kids’ classic ‘Ratatouille’ and warm family drama ‘The 100-Foot Journey’ featuring Dame Helen Mirren. In addition to the event program, FREE vegan samples (we promise you won’t tell the difference) will be given out throughout the night along with grand prize giveaways, drive-through photo booths and more. The City can’t wait to catch some vegan vibes with you!

Saturday, October 10th | 6:30 pm - 12:30 pm
Let’s be honest, options for fun are quite limited these days. Why not join the City for an exciting, mouth-watering Saturday evening drive-in experience! This evening will feature a showcase of a Bermuda-inspired chef and cocktail demonstrations with FREE accompanying samples, take-home kits and recipe cards. Children's movie ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs’ will be the first of a double feature followed by ‘Chef’ featuring Jon Favreau, Scarlett Johansson, Sofía Vergara and many more. Additionally, there will be drive-by cake decorating showcases, ice sculptures, drive-through photo-booths and grand-prize giveaways. Have those $25 City eatery receipts in-hand and ready to drive on in.

Sunday, October 11th | 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Will you find the golden ticket? Come to our third and final night of the Taste of Bermuda Drive-In Experience and eat your way through chocolate bars (don’t worry summer’s over) to find out! This evening concludes the weekend with a screening of the Willy Wonka cult classic remake ‘Charlie & The Chocolate Factory’. Upon arriving, chocolate bars will be given to each guest with only a few containing the lucky “golden ticket” that grants the holder an impressive grand prize! Traditional Bermuda sweet and savoury treats will also be offered through the evening. Join us at Taste of Bermuda with your $25 receipt from a City restaurant for a sweet treat of an evening!
