Summer Sunday is Around the Corner
Hamilton – June 30th, 2023
Sundays are usually a day of rest for most, but come July 16th, Victoria Park will be a hive of activity as the City of Hamilton hosts its annual Summer Sunday City Funday.
City of Hamilton Events & Marketing Coordinator, Melissa Looby, said of the event, “Summer Sunday is our biggest family event of the year, so we hope that people take advantage of this amazing afternoon in Victoria Park. We’ll have live entertainment, multiple food and snack vendors, carnival games, giveaways and so much more. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday and engage the kids.”
The Town Crier and Powergirl Patrina O’Connor will emcee the event and live acts include HnH Gombeys, Working Title, Silver City Band, DJ Mystro, and the Bermuda Squad Dancers. Kids will have plenty of activities to enjoy with fun castles, a pie-eating contest, face-painting, giant lawn games and an array of carnival games, including a celebrity dunk tank, with prizes up for grabs.
The event will run from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Admission to the event is free.
In the event of inclement weather, the rain date is Sunday, July 23rd.
