City Announces Vendors for Tasting Village

Hamilton – October 5th, 2023

The City of Hamilton is excited to announce the list of vendors taking part in the Tasting Village on Sunday, October 15th (12noon-6pm) as part of Taste of Bermuda – Hamilton's most delicious and fun food festival.

The Tasting Village is a lively street festival which will feature a range of entertainment, an ultimate kid’s zone (which includes bouncy castles, mini scramblers, face-painting, temporary tattooing, inflatable games and cookie decorating – all for FREE) and culinary delights served up via Bermuda's most beloved food vendors and culinary institutions in the beautiful Victoria Park!

The park will be transformed into a culinary stage and activated with upbeat cooking demonstrations and music by DJ Chubb as well as live entertainment and upbeat dance performances. There will be something to suit all tastes and satisfy any craving with a variety of food available, from Caribbean inspired cuisine to sweet treats and gourmet teas!

There will be live demonstrations by Ashley’s Lemonade, Chef Antwan Ellis (Intrepid), Chef Daamian Simmons (Royal Bermuda Yacht Club), Picky Little Eaters, Hindsight Fitness, Kamel Dickinson and Tyka Edness, as well pie-eating and donut ‘bobbing’ competitions.

The event will conclude with performances from Bermuda’s beloved Gombeys.

Prizes will be awarded for the ‘Best of the Fest’ – a public vote cast in-person at the Tasting Village for attendees’ favorite vendor. Prizes include a $4000 Crown Verity grill courtesy of Ultimate Grills and, of course, our prestigious trophy. 

The City’s Director of Marketing and Communications Mrs. Jessica Astwood said, “Tickets have already sold out for Set the Bar: Cocktail Competition as well as Front Street Formal: Live Dining Experience so we are urging anyone interested in attending the Tasting Village to go to www.ptix.bm to pre-order your Tasting Village tokens today!

“In previous years, the Taste of Bermuda program has been known to bring out upwards of 4,000 attendees over the course of the weekend. Taste of Bermuda – the biggest curated food-centric event in Bermuda – promises to once again showcase our culture, celebrate community and support Bermuda businesses.”
